Why do I offer after-wedding shoots? Shouldn't couple portraits ideally take place on the wedding day?
Not necessarily! Of course, many couples plan their couple portraits on their big day – and I think that’s wonderful!
I’m actually a fan of breaking the shoot into several small, relaxed sessions throughout the celebration.
But there are situations where an after-wedding shoot can be the perfect solution:
Imagine it’s raining on your wedding day – and it’s non-stop.
You rush from the ceremony venue to the reception venue because you don’t want to arrive completely soaked.
The venue is already full of guests, and there’s no quiet moment for a couple's shoot.
Everyone wants to see you, congratulate you, and chat with you.
Time for a moment alone? Not happening!
Wouldn't it be much more relaxing if you were barefoot in the sand, walking along the sea?
You’re not under any time pressure, can enjoy the sunset, and celebrate each other all over again.
And you have another reason to wear your wedding attire a second time.
